It is distilled from the maceration of twelve botanicals and undergoes two distillations in a glass still that eliminates unwanted flavors and odors. Each distillation is equivalent to five distillations in a traditional pot still. Other botanicals include hibiscus flower, which provides a floral aroma and a refreshing aftertaste. Mandarin peel and pink peppercorns add a touch of sweetness on the palate. Angelica root, cardamom, and cinnamon contribute to the dry character. Finally, almond provides the distillate's smooth texture.
