Siderit Vermouth 75cl is a handcrafted vermouth from Cantabria, designed for palates seeking elegance, finesse, and authenticity. It is presented as the first commercially available vermouth on the market with no added sugar, and was awarded the 2017 Spanish Food Innovation Award.
Its production begins with select wines and a carefully chosen blend of botanicals (herbs, roots, spices) that macerate slowly for weeks. Thanks to this artisanal process, complex aromas are achieved without the need for added sugars. The innovation in its recipe earned it national recognition in 2017.
This Cantabrian vermouth combines tradition and innovation: it not only preserves the classic essence of vermouth but also offers a cleaner, more natural experience by eliminating added sugars. The product begins with a two-month maceration of over 100 base herbs in a hydroalcoholic solution.
It is then aged in sherry casks to stabilize aromas and color, alongside a Pedro Ximénez wine and a second maceration of flowers.

Tasting Notes : The vermouth has a deep mahogany color with amber highlights and a low alcohol content. It is clear and free of cloudiness. The nose is very intense with notes of wildflowers, aromatic herbs, and spices, as well as a touch of wood. Balsamic notes are also present, providing a pleasant bitterness. On the palate, it is smooth but perfectly balanced with the acidity of the vermouth.
A very long and unique aftertaste, with intense bitter notes, which speak to the high quality of the product.
